Ginger Juel is a fiscal year 2023 recipient of a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

During 2023 I spent the year making art and connecting with our community. My goal was to help immerse others in the moment by encouraging interaction with our senses. I accomplished this goal by providing thoughtful activities in non-traditional environments to engage in art, movement & play. Some of the activities involved yoga, breath, silly movement, others encouraged creating art together for a group and to take home, mix & play with color in various mediums and painting & clay -in the sunshine under trees outside of traditional art environments.

I created visual works which Diegetic helped come to full form with music. We created visually beautiful & strange musical mesh instruments, converted vintage furniture to touch sensitive art which plays generative sound once an electrical connection is made through two people.
